There are shaded areas on the rooftop if you need a break from the rays.

What happens if it rains?

Come! We've got you covered - literally. Roots glass greenhouse-style rooftop opens fully, partially or can be closed to keep things cozy. The show goes on rain or shine. Don't miss it!

Will there be drinks and food?

Yes! Our rooftop bar is fully stocked with cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic options. Roots Pizza's full menu is available as well as pizza by the slice. Don't forget their famous mozzarella sticks. https://www.rootspizza.com/locations/south-loop/

Can I reserve a booth?

Yes! Booths are available for advance reservation. They come with seating, your group's personalized reserved signage and hostess service - serving specialty cocktails, snacks and the full drinks and food menus. Check the ticketing section for current availability.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Our first Rooftop Tea Dance sold out in advance, so we highly recommend buying early. If space allows, a limited number of tickets may be released at the door. If you missed out on an advance ticket, follow us on Instagram @dadsoflove for the latest ticket/door updates.

Where is the rooftop entrance?

The event is at Roots Handmade Pizza - South Loop Chicago. Printer's Row Neighborhood, at the corner of W Polk St & S Dearborn St. The rooftop entrance is accessible via the main restaurant on W Polk Street—look for signage and our friendly check-in team.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving by 3 PM to enjoy the full vibe—sunshine, cocktails, and the warm-up set. Booth-holders, come early and settle in with a drink and slice.

Is there parking nearby?

Yes, there is limited street parking and nearby parking garages. Red Line Harrison Stop is 1 block from the venue!
