DIG DAY — Rocky Point, Brushing!
Overview
Come out and help clear back the overgrowth on our trails before summer!
What we're doing:
We will be trimming back grasses, blackberry brambles, and all the other underbush that is growing into the trails. Specific trails are TBD based off work done before the event, however there will be plenty to do and we need as many folks as we can get!
Safety meeting starts at 8:30 a.m at the Rocky Point gazebo.
Note: Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure that you are ready to roll. We work in most weather, so come prepared for the elements.
What to bring:
- Work clothes: Long sleeve shirt (optional but highly recommended), pants (mandatory), boots, eye protection, jacket, and gloves
- Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory)
- Water
- Snacks
- Optional: Your bike and any trimmers, loppers, and personal PPE for weed whacking! We have tools, but please feel free to bring your own.
