Dinner & a Cruise (Picnic Style): A Haunted River Cruise (Thursday)

Join Michael Blackwell, our favorite bad guy and elf for a bone chilling, spine tingling Haunted River Cruise.

Michael Blackwell has a long history of spooky storytelling and acting. He prefers playing “the bad guy” and even monsters because it is the most fun. In St. Mary’s he has been a regular at Ghosts of Sotterley and Legends & Lore and a played a pirate captain and an elf (now there’s a combo!) at Piney Point Lighthouse and Museum. When not engaged in tales of the macabre, he works for St. Mary’s County Library, does community work for many entities including the St. Mary’s County Museum Advisory Board, and enjoys sailing and cycling.

Event Details

• Departure Time: All cruises depart promptly at 4:00 PM.
• Picinic Style – bring your favorite food and drinks and make it your own floating feast! Just remember to pack everything you’ll need, because the boat won’t have any provisions onboard.
• Guests will receive an email 3-5 days prior to their scheduled cruise with confirmation of time additional cruise details.

Weather Policy

Safety is our top priority. Cruises will operate in rain or shine; however, wind conditions will determine whether it is safe to sail. Please plan accordingly.

If the Captain determines that a cruise must be canceled, notifications will be made around 1:30 PM. Please note that changing conditions may require a later cancellation. We will make every effort to notify guests as soon as possible.
