Join UF/IFAS Extension Polk County and the City of Lakeland Water Utilities for a monthly workshop on gardening and landscaping topics rooted in Florida-Friendly Landscaping™. Get ready to grow your green thumb all while conserving our water resources.

Join UF/IFAS Extension Polk County and the City of Lakeland Water Utilities at Kelly Recreation Complex to learn how to create a beautiful, low-maintenance yard using drought-tolerant plants that thrive in Florida’s climate. This Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ workshop will cover plant selection, proper placement, and watering practices that help conserve water while keeping your landscape healthy.
