Join GALT for Echo Walk at Weaver Cave Preserve!
Join GALT and biologists from Alabama Power for an evening hike on the trails at Weaver Cave Preserve as we tune into the hidden world of bats! Using acoustic monitoring equipment, we’ll detect and identify bat species by their ultrasonic calls. This guided walk offers a chance to experience the preserve after dark and learn about our resident bat species.
Recommended for ages 6 and up. Kids must be accompanied by an adult.
Signs will indicate where to park.
