How long is the tour?

This walking tour will last about two hours. We'll cover about 1.5 miles of ground.

How accessible is the tour?

Our roads are paved, but parts of our grounds are hilly, and we will at times walk on the grass to get a closer view of specific gravesites and monuments. The tour guide uses a portable amplifier.

Where do I park?

Free parking is available in the Calvary Baptist Church parking lot just outside our main entrance. A limited number of accessibility parking spots are also available in the small lot outside of our gatehouse.

Where does the tour begin?

Meet up at our gatehouse (that's the big Gothic-looking structure you see right as you pass through our gates). We'll open the doors about 15 minutes before the tour begins so you can fill up your water bottle, use the restroom, or rendezvous with your friends.

What is your weather cancellation policy?

This tour will be held rain or shine. Please check the weather and dress appropriately! In the event of a severe weather advisory or alert, we may cancel to keep everyone safe. We aim to notify attendees of a severe weather cancelation no fewer than four hours before an event.

Are pets allowed?

Elmwood is a pet-friendly cemetery! However, we prefer that you leave your pets at home for our tour programs. Please contact us for questions about this policy.
