Explore Garden Teas: Get Your Sipping Senses Going

Overview

What makes tea so popular? Settle in for a learning about growing tea while tasting variations of this historically treasured beverage

Garden teas are made from herbal based blends and happen to be one of the most popular drinks in the world. Traditionally made from the camellia sinensis plant, a multitude of garden tea varieties can be grown and made from plants that you may have in your home. We'll journey through some of the origins of tea drinking up to modern day variations while becoming exposed to some of the many garden tea blends that have been consumed throughout the ages.

After the discussion, you’ll come away with a foundational understanding of how to cultivate, process, and blend your own tea versions at home. Take the opportunity to create your own tea blends to savor and drink in the moment or to save for future enjoyment. Workshop supplies are included.
