Beyond the Beach

The "Beyond the Beach" Series highlights events where we explore further inland, trading in picturesque beaches for oak-filled hammocks or sprawling pine flatwoods. Join us on one of these hikes to discover the wilder side of Martin County.

Start your weekend with a delightful morning nature walk at Savannas Preserve State Park. This beautifully diverse park protects a large span of coastal St. Lucie and Martin County. With a variety of ecosystems such as wetlands, pine flatwoods and scrub, this preserve offers a wonderful wild Florida experience. Join us! <h3>DETAILS</h3>FREE program, but reservations are requiredState Park entry fees apply ($3 per car up to 8 ppl).
