FBC Denver & Front Range June 2026 Bird Outing

Join the Feminist Bird Club Denver & Front Range Chapter for our June Bird Outing!

When: Sunday, June 14 from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

What to expect: We'll walk at a leisurely pace along the Wheatridge Greenbelt looking for migratory and resident species.

• All are welcome on this outing! No birding experience is needed! We can provide a loaner set of binoculars.
• We'll go birding for 2 hours from 9:00-11:00am, followed by a group picnic from 11:00am-12:00pm. Feel free to bring a lunch!
• June weather can be variable, so please wear appropriate clothing and bring snacks, sunscreen, water, and sunscreen if you have it.
• Unfortunately, we cannot accept additional non-registered participants due to park restrictions.

Accessibility Info: The location features free parking and an on-site port-a-potty. From there, you'll find mostly flat, paved trails that are easy to navigate. There is also wheelchair accessible parking.
