Meet our friendly resident corn snake and observe his feeding habits in person
Come watch our resident snakes enjoy their mealtime! During this feeding demonstration, you’ll learn what snakes like to eat, how they find and capture their food, and how their feeding habits compare to other wildlife in the park. We’ll also explore the unique qualities and characteristics that make snakes so fascinating, including an introduction to the venomous snake species found here in Virginia. It’s a great opportunity to see these animals up close and discover more about their role in our ecosystem.
Please meet at the Visitor Center. Suitable for all ages. Parks are for everyone, please let us know if you need special accommodation.
