Join Professor Kammy Algiers for a hike & hands-on introduction to field biology and nature journaling at Charmlee Wilderness Park.

Field biologist and professor Kammy Algiers will lead a walk through Charmlee Wilderness Park, inviting individuals to explore what it means to be a naturalist, field biologist, and ecologist. Along the way, participants will receive a nature journal and learn how to make observations in the field, recording and sketching the birds, pollinators, and plants they encounter in the landscape around them.

We will meet next to the bathrooms (next to the parking lot) at the Charmlee Wilderness Park. See attached map.

Distance: approximately 3 miles.
