Firearms Hunter Safety: Skills and Exam Day - Scarborough

This course is for those that wish to take the course in person to ask questions, gain insight, handle training firearms and become acquainted with the use and operation of a magnetic compass.

Student's will have the option to have their homework mailed to them or they may present their online course completed.

This Skills and Exam Session will include 5 hours of classroom instruction on the follow topics:

• Landowner relations
• Hunter ethics
• Maine hunting laws
• Hands-on practice of safe firearms handling
• Hands-on instruction of map and compass
• Survival Kit contents and discussion

At the skills and exam session, students must demonstrate to the instructor that they can safely handle a firearm, and must participate in class activities, and pass a 50-question exam with a score of at least 70%.
