A night of activities including a hayride to witness the magical firefly display in Powhatan State Park's rolling hills and meadows.
Warm summer nights combined with the lush, blooming grasslands at Powhatan State Park make the perfect stage for dancing fireflies! Join us activities including ranger-led firefly walks, a glow-in-the-dark craft, educational discovery table with a Virginia Master Naturalist and Xerces Society member, and a firefly hayride alongside the rolling hills and wide-open meadows. Tickets are required for the hayride, but the other activities do not require tickets.
