Get outside and get to know the birds!
Experience Level: Beginner
Get outside and get to know the birds at our First Friday Bird Hikes on Friday, June 5, August 7, November 6, or December 4 from 9-11 a.m. Meet in the Main Parking Lot.
Led by our Natural Areas staff, these hikes will focus on observing both resident birds and summer breeding species. Hikes will highlight bird behavior during one of the busiest times of year! Experience these birds sourcing their food, defending their territories, and for some, preparing for their migratory journey south later this fall.
$10/person*; free for Allerton Bird Club members. Registration will close one day before each hike. Become a Bird Club member here. All sales are final. If a meeting location changes, registrants and bird club members will be notified by email.
*A limited number of binoculars will be available on a first-come basis. At times the hikes will leave the trails, so please dress accordingly.
