Fit and Sew a Sweet Little KNIT Jacket

Add a perfectly fitted “Sweet Little KNIT Jacket” to your wardrobe! This basic semi-fitted unlined blaze is fabulous for practicing your pattern fitting skills while adding a classic jacket to your ready-to-sew collection. The “Sweet Little Jacket” features princess-like darts, side panels, in-seam patch pockets, notched collar, and two piece sleeves.

Ideal knit fabrics to use for your jacket: Ponte, double-knit, interlock, French terry.. - any medium-to-heavy weight, semi-stable knit fabric.

Easy “hacking” alterations will be discussed in class to create a wider variety of looks from this basic pattern.You'll put your new skills and knowledge to work as you create a semi-fitted blouse that can be made in a variety of styles.

This is a multi-part class with four hours of fit instruction, three sessions of optional office hours for online fitting help and questions, and two three-hour days of blouse construction. Up to 16 hours of instruction!

All formal class sessions will be recorded and available to participants for re-viewing or to watch missed classes. Class recordings will be available to participants for a month after the event l for further study. Class materials include a detailed workbook with alteration information, and a class supply list.

Sweet Little Jacket - The Sewing Place

It is recommended that you trace your jacket pattern onto pattern tracing material to keep the original intact (you can do this after the Fit class is finished if you're not sure about your size).
