Flourish

Though they speak different languages, Mimosa, a plant, and human Molly are best

friends who spend their days dancing together. Both come from communities on the

verge of disappearing, and their relationship takes a serious turn when Mimosa learns

something that could save those communities. Mimosa figures out how to overcome

their language barrier and shares the news with Molly. Now Molly has to tell the rest of

her village. The problem is: Will they believe her when she tells them she heard it from a

plant? 

Inspired by recent scientific studies confirming what many have long known – plants are

sentient beings who learn, remember, communicate and have agency - Flourish

reminds us that, by working together, plants and humans can restore our world, one

garden at a time.
