Located in the heart of Chesterfield's old courthouse district, historic Trinity Church was originally established in 1855 and later rebuilt in 1887. Today, the church serves as the home of the Chesterfield Historical Society of Virginia and houses priceless genealogical records, maps, photographs, and over 400 years of Chesterfield history.

But, this quiet Gothic chapel has witnessed far more than history books can fully explain!

Surrounded by some of Chesterfield's oldest landmarks-including Castlewood, Magnolia Grange, the historic courthouse grounds, and the 1892 Jail-Trinity Church stands in an area layered with generations of triumph, sorrow, worship, mourning, and mystery. Many believe locations with such deep emotional history retain an atmosphere unlike anywhere else!
