Forest bathing Series

Forest bathing Series

Overview

Experience the magical land of The Verdancy Project through the restorative practice of forest bathing.

Experience the magical land of The Verdancy Project through the restorative practice of forest bathing. Forest bathing is inspired by the Japanese tradition of shinrin-yoku.  Connect with your senses, relax your nervous system, and nourish your whole self while moving slowly and intentionally through this gorgeous forest ecosystem along Beaver Creek.

Your guide for this experience will be Julie Jansen of Earthbody Presence, a certified Forest Therapy Guide.  She will offer a series of invitations to help you cultivate presence and interact with nature in creative new ways.  You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with the other people in our small group and feel the power of community.

July 26th, 2-4:30pm - Forest Bathing + Berry Picking- Spend time celebrating the bounty of mid-Summer season with forest bathing and blueberry collection.  We'll eat some of the berries we've gathered during forest tea, and you'll take some home with you too.

August 29th, 10-12:30pm - Forest Bathing + Flower Bouquet Creation- During this forest bathing walk you'll have the opportunity to create an intuitive flower bouquet to take home with you.  Listen to your inner aesthetic compass and be guided by the flowers to create something beautiful.

September 19th, 5:30-8pm - Forest Bathing + Nature Art Collaboration- This forest bathing walk brings the opportunity to collaborate with nature to create a piece of land art.  No artistic experience needed, just bring curiosity and your inner child to guide you into the creative process.

Join all three for $75
or
drop in for any individual session on a sliding scale of $30, $35, or $40.
