Foundations: Learn Sport Climbing 101
Learn how the sport climbing system works; belaying, clipping, anchors. Build the systems you need to climb outside with confidence.
Already tried outdoor climbing and want to learn how sport climbing actually works? This is the next step.
Sport Foundations is a 1-hour ground-based session focused on the tools and systems used in outdoor sport climbing.
This is not a climbing session. You’ll stay on the ground and learn how the system works before practicing it on real rock.
What You'll Learn
➜ Clipping and rope management
➜ Belaying a leader
➜ Bolted anchor basics
➜ Cleaning a sport anchor
➜ Basic communication and flow
