Free Environmental Job Training Information Session in Chattanooga

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is offering a Superfund Job Training Initiative in Chattanooga to train local residents for environmental jobs in the area. This program will provide participants with multiple certifications at no charge and prepare them for careers in environmental cleanup work.
Trainings include:
- Hazardous Materials Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) 40-Hour
- Lead-Based Paint Abatement Worker (Initial)
- OSHA-10 Construction Safety
- CPR/First Aid
To learn more and apply, you MUST attend ONE of the 60-minute information sessions held on:
- Wednesday, June 10--10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., or 5:00 p.m.
- Thursday, June 11--10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., or 5:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, June 16--10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., or 5:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, June 17--10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., or 5:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, June 24--10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., or 5:00 p.m.
- Thursday, June 25--10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., or 5:00 p.m.
Requirements for participation in this training program include:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Able to legally work in the U.S.
- Participate in drug testing.
