Freelancers Hub and Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts are partnering to offer free legal clinics to NYC freelancer artists and creatives in media and entertainment in order to help them protect their work and deal with legal challenges. Please fill out our questionnaire application form to be considered for our Virtual Legal Clinics
We will review applications as they come in. There will be 20-25 slots available. If you are selected, a representative from Freelancers Hub will be in touch about confirming your appointment via text and email by June 5th, 2026. The event will be online.
These free legal clinics are available to freelancers who need legal help in one of the following areas relating to their art:
- Nonpayment
- Contracts
- Discrimination
- Employment/labor
- Intellectual property
