Friday Night Fishing @ Diamond Teague Park

This is a free event! Bait, tackle, and rods will be provided and there will be staff to help teach you how to fish. The event is first come, first onto the dock. There is the chance that when you arrive, you will be placed on the waitlist if the dock is at capacity. We will have a 1-hour fishing limit if there is a waitlist.

ALL PARTICIPANTS need to complete the waiver linked here. Adults need individual waivers and an adult can put up to 4 minors on their waiver.

RAIN POLICY:

If it is lightly raining, we will still host Community Fishing as regularly scheduled - so bring your rain gear!

If there is lightning, thunderstorms, or heavy rain we unfortunately will have to cancel. However, as you know summer thunderstorms in DC are often last minute and unpredictable in duration. If thunderstorms are expected, we will advise by email and on social media. We kindly ask you to please hold off on emailing us about rain-related questions until then.

If a cancellation does occur, please don't worry we have several other opportunities to fish this summer!
