If you are searching for a fun, easy and super relaxing “craft” this year, look no further!
Join us as we introduce you to the joys of dry needle felting, both 3D and 2D, as well as a fabulous wet felting project.
Dry needle felting is a technique that uses specially barbed needles to interlock, compress and sculpt loose wool fibres. Wet felting, on the other hand, uses warm water, soap and physical agitation to tangle and fuse loose fibres into a solid cohesive piece of fabric.
Come learn and little bit about both!
Waverley Workshops is a space where artisans, makers and knowledgeable individuals come to share their expertise. Classes take place in the restored century barn at Waverley Pines, a 70 acre farm located in Simcoe County just north of Barrie. All materials necessary for your day will all be waiting for you, unless otherwise specified. We offer a relaxed hands-on approach to learning that is sure to get your creative juices flowing, and further that spark of interest.
