We focus on developing and facilitating programs, initiatives, and community events that promote wellness, connection, and progress. Our impactful programs include Mental Health Hikes of Healing, Free Farmers Markets, Young Men’s Leadership Program, College Readiness Program, and Domestic Violence Prevention Workshops—all designed to foster resilience and opportunity. The Black Neighborhood is a non profit organization that focuses on supporting, uplifting, and encouraging the black community by way of various community events &amp; initiatives, free food-giveaways, youth empowerment programs, scholarship awards, book clubs &amp; much more! GameDay 2024 is in collaboration with GoldBeams, Regulars Only, Good Air Studios, Vibes in the Park, Solid Grounds, Play to Win, &amp; Mr. Build Wealth to create an epic day of competition, community, &amp; fun. The Details:Date: June 23rd 2024T ime: 1pm-7pmLocation: San Pablo Park2800 Park St, Berkeley, CA 94702 *This is a public community event; please act accordingly :) Event Waiver Statement:By participating in our Game Day event, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:Assumption of Risk: I understand and acknowledge that participating in sports and physical activities involves inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to sprains, strains, fractures, and other physical injuries. I voluntarily assume all such risks and waive any claims against the event organizers.Health and Fitness: I confirm that I am physically fit and in good health to participate in the activities scheduled for the Game Day event. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a healthcare professional if I have any concerns about my ability to participate safely.Release of Liability: I release and discharge the event organizers, sponsors, and all associated personnel from any liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of my participation in the Game Day event.Use of Likeness: I grant the event organizers the right to use photographs, videos, or any other media of me participating in the event for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation.Minors: If I am registering a minor to participate in the event, I acknowledge that I am the legal guardian or parent of the minor, and I consent to their participation and agree to all terms on their behalf. By completing the registration for the Game Day event, I acknowledge that I have read and understood this waiver statement and agree to its terms and conditions. I understand that this waiver is binding, and I voluntarily accept its provisions.
