Gender Equality & Supporting Women’s Wellbeing in the Workplace
Part of the National Wellbeing Week 2026 collection
Overview
Session explores workplace factors affecting women’s wellbeing and how better support and gender equality can drive meaningful change.
Kelsey Smith, Head of Equally Safe at Work at Close the Gap will lead this session. We know that different things impact women’s wellbeing in the workplace. This includes experiences of sexual harassment, challenges managing caring responsibilities, lack of support around menopause and menstrual health, and feeling undervalued. This session will look at how we can better support women in the workplace, what changes need to be made and how this links to the need for wider gender equality.
