Mountain biking requires riders to confront their fears, biases, and preconceived notions: we know what it feels like to be fearful, uncomfortable, and out of our element while on a ride. While we believe that everyone's barriers should be respected, we know that mutual support will help get us past those barriers. We must boost each other up and push ourselves to improve both on and off the bike. NWTA wants a world where everyone feels welcome, safe, and free in the outdoors. All volunteers and participants in NWTA events are held to ourCode of Conduct and Ethics.Some Northwest Trail Alliance (NWTA) programs, events, and activities require registration fees. Refunds will be issued in full for registration fee refund requests received no less than seven (7) calendar days prior to the event start date and time. A partial refund of 50% will be issued for registration fee refund requests received after seven (7) days and up to twenty-four (24) hours before the start of the event. GROUP RIDES

Get ready to embark on a cycling adventure like no other! Join us on a thrilling series of group bicycle. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or just dusting off your old bike, there's a ride for you in this exciting collection.

Join River City Bicycles, partnered with the NWTA, for an evening ride at Rocky Point on September 30th. We plan to break into two groups, Beginners and Intermediates. The Beginner route will cover ~5 miles and ~1000 feet of elevation, and include guidance on bike handling skills. The Intermediate route will cover ~10 miles and ~2000 feet of elevation gain. Both routes should take around two hours.

The ride&#x27;s open to all genders, and will be led by women from River City Bicycles.

Please bring a helmet- or handlebar-mounted light for safety, as we&#x27;ll be riding close to dusk. Don&#x27;t forget your water and snacks!
