Guided Plant Hike at Roxborough State Park

Join Orophile Outdoor Adventures at Roxborough State Park for a guided exploration of the spectacular Fountain Valley Trail.

Accompanied by a Roxborough Naturalist volunteer, you'll discover the park’s diverse native plants and learn how they interact with the animals that call this unique landscape home.

We will meet in Colorado Springs and travel to Roxborough State Park together, with carpooling available if needed.

What to Expect

• Meet up and depart Colorado Springs at 6:15 am
• Arrive at the Visitor’s Center at 7:30 am
• Guided Plant Hike at 8 am
• Lunch at Waterton Tavern

Once registered, you will receive additional trip details and meeting information. Group size is limited to 10 participants.

Park Entrance Information:

To enter Roxborough State Park, you will need either a valid

Colorado State Parks Pass or a Keep Colorado Wild Pass.

Daily vehicle passes are available:

• $10 per vehicle (Colorado license plates)
• $15 per vehicle (out-of-state license plates)
