Hand Building Pottery for Kids Workshop
In this workshop, join LMU alumni and elementary art teacher Belle Blake, for this 2-day workshop on how to create pottery by hand building.
This is a 2-day workshop, it will take place on June 15 and 16 from 1pm to 4pm at the LMU Center for the Arts in Cumberland Gap, TN. All supplies and needed materials are provided. There is an additional glazing day for this event on June 24 from 1pm to 4pm, so participants can paint their pottery.
In this workshop, join LMU alumni and elementary art teacher Belle Blake, for this 2-day workshop on how to create pottery by using a hand building technique. Participants will learn how to correctly manipulate clay forms and use a studio. They will also use hand-building techniques to create animal bobble heads! This workshop is messy, so make sure participants come in clothes they can get dirty in.
This workshop will take place June 15th through 16th from 1pm to 4pm both days. There will be a glazing day on June 24th from 1pm to 4pm so participants can “paint” their pieces.
This workshop is for those ages 11 to 13.
