About this Class:It’s time to get your hands messy! In our hands-on format, you’ll be diving right in and making our dish with ingredients prepared by our Eataly kitchens. Our Scuola Chef will prepare a curated antipasto for you to taste in the class. You then get to enjoy your culinary creation straight out of the oven!

About this Dish:Welcome to the world of pizza! There are many different types of pizza across Italy. Coming from Rome, Pizza alla Pala is an oval-shaped pizza served on a wooden pala, or paddle. Thick and crispy on the outside, but still fluffy in the center, the toppings are added after the pizza is baked. In this class, you’ll make your own pizza dough from scratch.

In this Class You Will:<ul><li>Learn about the traditions and culture of Pizza alla Pala</li></ul><ul><li>Observe as our Scuola Chef teaches the group how to make Pizza alla Pala</li></ul><ul><li>Make your own Pizza alla Pala from scratch by hand</li></ul><ul><li>Enjoy a menu featuring an antipasto, welcome Prosecco, and Pizza alla Pala prepared by our Chef alongside a wine pairing</li></ul>

Please Note:This class will take place in La Scuola on 2nd floor of Eataly Silicon Valley<ul><li>One ticket purchase is valid for one guest</li></ul><ul><li>Seating is first-come, first-served</li></ul><ul><li>Class duration is approximate and may vary by 10-15 minutes</li></ul><ul><li>All guests planning to consume alcohol must be able to produce a valid government-issued identification to prove they are 21 or older. Non-alcoholic beverages are available.</li></ul><ul><li>Classes are also suitable for children 8+ who are passionate about Italian cuisine. Under 15 must be accompanied by a supervising adult.</li></ul><ul><li>Please notify us 48 hours in advance if you have any dietary restrictions. For groups of 5-10 guests, a minimum of 7 days' notice (class day not included) is required to receive a credit in the form of a coupon for a future class or event. For groups of up to 4 guests, a minimum of 4 days' notice (class day not included) is required to receive a credit in the form of a coupon code for a future class or event at La Scuola. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a class or event due to unforeseen circumstances, inclement weather or otherwise. In the event of a class or event cancellation, we will contact you directly at the phone number or email address you have provided to offer a full refund or credit to transfer to a future class or event. While we are not able to offer credit, transfers or refunds for last-minute illnesses, work-related conflicts, personal emergencies or events beyond our control, you are always welcome to send someone in your place, as we understand that these things do happen. If you are purchasing this class or event as a gift, please provide this cancellation policy to the recipient, as the policy will still apply.
