GRC Growers Guide

A series of workshops at the Garden Resource Center that is focused on growing better gardeners.

Join us for a hands on workshop on designing your first irrigation system. This class will focus on two differnet strategies: sprinklers and drip irrigation using water from a garde spigot. In the workshop participants will design a small system and then assemble it in the class. Participants can take their systems home. Participants will learn:<ul><li>design basics</li><li>design strategies</li><li>how to assemble irrigation components</li><li>problem solving irrigation systems</li><li>dealing with water pressure (high and low)</li><li>maintaining the system, fixing it when it breaks</li><li>how to winterize the system</li></ul> <h3>Venue Details</h3><ul><li>Parking Information    Limited on street parking on Putnam St.</li><li>Bus Line    On Bus Line: 82 and 71D</li><li>Site Accessibility Information    Site accessible by sidewalk to entrance. In site is uneven grassy paths.
