Capture your first images of the Milky Way at this easily accessible site and friendly workshop environment.
Join us for an evening of night photography, where you'll learn how to photograph the night sky and capture stunning images of the Milky Way. This workshop is designed for beginners; no experience necessary. Any digital camera will work, DSLR, mirrorless, and even the latest smartphone cameras.
The site is easily accessible, only a 100 ft level walk from the parking lot, and 20 minutes from downtown Nevada City.
The only required equipment is your camera and a tripod.
A free online, live workshop will be offered in two 1-hour Zoom sessions the week prior to the workshop, where you'll learn how to set up your specific camera and prepare ahead of the field work. The online classes will be on Tuesday, July 7, and Thursday, July 9.
