The Hutchinson River Restoration Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to the long-term protection and restoration of the Hutchinson River. We are committed to working with local communities, politicians, and other environmental organizations to ensure that the river is restored to a healthy habitat.Our mission is to restore and enhance the health of the Hutchinson River for current and future generations. We strive to reduce pollution, improve the river's water quality, and protect its wildlife and habitats. By working together, we believe we can create a healthier and more vibrant river for all to enjoy.

Join the Hutchinson River Restoration Project at Pelham Bit Stables as we work together to help clean and protect the shoreline of the Hutchinson River. Volunteers will help pick up trash and debris along the waterfront, improving the health of the river and surrounding ecosystem while making the area cleaner and safer for wildlife and the community.This cleanup is a great opportunity to spend time outdoors, make a direct environmental impact, and learn more about the importance of preserving our local waterways. Whether you are a longtime supporter or joining us for the first time, everyone is welcome to lend a hand and help care for this important natural resource.As a special thank you, the first 20 volunteers to participate will receive a free horseback ride!What to Bring:BootsLong-sleeve shirt &amp; JacketHatLet’s work together to restore the river—see you there!Please note that this event has Age limits:12+ with adult14+ without adult~Street parking is available.~Bx29 stops within a 5-10 minute walk to the location.~We will provide gloves, grabbers, trash bags, and anything else required for invasive removal and trash collection as well as water and a light snack.~Please purchase a ticket for everyone in your group so we have an accurate headcount.~By purchasing a ticket, you are agreeing to our <a href="https://bit.ly/HRRPWaiver" title="https://bit.ly/HRRPWaiver" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Waiver</a>.
