What kind of bike do I need?

Anything you feel comfortable peddling for 50km each way and can hold camping gear! We suggest slightly wider tires, as we will be on a mix of pavement and gravel.

Is this the right trip for me?

Whether it's your first bikepacking trip or you have done a few, we welcome it all! This is the perfect overnight to experience bikepacking in a supportive community.

How do I pack my bike and what do i need to bring?

We will release a packing list - sleeping gear, tent, cookware and extra clothing! We will also be talking soon about different bike set-ups, which can look different depending on the bike and person, a rack and bags or panniers! We suggest not carrying bags on your back.

We want it to be accessible, about making community and learning. camping fees, prizes and goodies are included.

Anyone who identifies as female or non binary! This is a welcoming and supportive space, designed to help you build community and skills to set off on other bikepacking trips.

What is the intinerary?

Day 1: Meeting at Janion Plaza for 9:30 am, departing at 10:00 am, 55km from Victoria to Sooke Potholes, spend the afternoon/evening lounging! Day 2: Rolling mid-morning back to Victoria, from there we will be heading to a local spot for drinks and food to wrap up our weekend!
