June Geektastic Getaway - River Tubing w/ Haw River Canoe & Kayak Co

Come join us for a lazy day floating down the Haw River! It's a wonderful way to start the summer, NC Style.

How to Sign Up (You MUST sign up in advance):
Step 1: Go to https://hawrivercanoe.com/ and click on the blue 'Book a Reservation Button'

Step 2: On the top right, click the 'Select Date' button on 'Saxapahaw Adventure Tubing'

Step 3: Select the date of JUNE 28 and time of 11AM

Step 4: Select Your Preferred Tube and finish checking out.

Step 5: Send an Email to Erin@GeekandGrubMarket.com and let us know you're coming! Please include the number of guests joining you (if any).

Day Of:
We will meet at 10am near the check-in area which is at Saxapahaw Mill Race Paddle Access (see email from Haw River for directions). Look for the girl wearing a Geek and Grub sticker on her shirt.

Tube down the Haw right in the middle of Saxapahaw! Guests will enjoy a 1.2 mile lazy river float punctuated by 5 small rapids, then take out at Reverence Farms and walk a short distance through scenic pasture. From there, guests will take a short ride through the farm and back to our shop.

This trip is great for tubers who want an extended trip down the river without needing to haul their tubes and gear back up to their cars. The mix of flatwater and rapids makes for a relaxing float interspersed with moments of fun and excitement!

This trip is affected by water levels! Please review the usgs water level gauge before making a booking to ensure appropriate water levels for your group. 2.2 to 3 feet on the gauge is ideal. Under 2 feet, you may have to stand up and walk your tube occasionally. Higher levels will mean a shorter but more exciting run!

While we encourage hydration, please note that we do not allow glass or alcohol on the river.
