Junior Rangers: Rock Climbing

Overview

Scale new heights with our Junior Rangers rock climbing class at Eldorado Canyon State Park- climb on!

Our resident expert climbers will guide Junior Rangers on a vertical adventure during this introductory climbing class. No climbing experience or supplies necessary! We'll go over basic techniques, safety protocol, and everyone will have a chance to scale Supremacy Rock at Eldorado Canyon State Park.

Junior Rangers are children ages 6-12 years old who are interested in learning more about the natural environment, making new friends, and having fun. After attending three Junior Ranger events throughout the summer, a Junior Ranger is eligible to be officially "badged". Parents are encouraged to attend Junior Ranger events.

The program is free with a Colorado Parks and Wildlife State Park pass, otherwise admission is $10.

Timed Entry reservations are required for park access on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from May 1st to Oct 1st from 5:30 am to 3:30 pm. You can book your entry here: https://www.cpwshop.com/home.page under the "Visit a Park" tab.
