Kambo: A Sacred Cleansing Ceremony

Kambo: A Sacred Cleansing Ceremony

Overview

A sacred cleansing experience for prayer, release, reflection, and renewal, held with preparation, reverence, and care.

There are seasons when the body asks for stillness, the spirit asks for prayer, and the heart knows it is time to release what no longer feels aligned.

This ceremony is for those who feel called to sit with Kambo in a sacred, intentional, and carefully held container. It is not a casual gathering, and it is not offered as a medical treatment. It is a ceremonial experience rooted in preparation, reverence, personal responsibility, prayer, rest, and integration.

Kambo is the sacred secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor, also known as the Giant Monkey Tree Frog, found in the Amazon rainforest. In traditional ceremonial contexts, Kambo has been approached as a purification practice. At Temple Mother Earth, this offering is held with deep respect for the medicine, clear preparation, required intake review, and careful facilitation.

This ceremony is facilitated by King James, co-founder of Temple Mother Earth and an experienced Kambo practitioner. His approach is grounded, prayerful, and screening-focused, with each participant required to complete a Sacred Intake Form before participating.

What This Experience Is

This is a small-group Kambo ceremony held in a sacred sanctuary setting.

Before attending, each participant must complete a Sacred Intake Form. This allows the facilitator to review health history, preparation needs, and possible contraindications. Participation may not be appropriate for everyone, and registration does not guarantee final participation if intake review shows this experience is not aligned or appropriate.

During the ceremony, small points are applied to the skin and Kambo is administered by the facilitator. Participants generally remain conscious and aware during the experience. The active portion may bring a strong physical response, followed by rest, quiet, hydration guidance, reflection, and integration.

This offering is spiritual and ceremonial in nature. It is not medical care, medical treatment, diagnosis, or therapy, and it does not replace professional medical advice.
