Participants will meet at the Bexley Park Pavilion at 12:00 PM and be divided into two groups. Each group will start with a short team-building activity while learning what to expect during the kayaking and hiking experience.
After the introduction, participants will follow the Parks & Recreation truck to Euclid Beach Marina. Once on site, groups will reconnect with their designated teams. One group will kayak with Metroparks instructors while the other joins a guided nature walk. Groups will switch halfway through so everyone has the opportunity to participate in both activities. A liability waiver must be signed on site.
After kayaking and hiking are complete, participants are welcome to stay for a scavenger hunt until 4:00 PM or leave at their leisure.
