If you’re looking for fun things to do in and around Columbia, Lakefront Live is the place to be! Columbia Association has you covered with a summer full of outdoor entertainment at the picturesque Columbia Association Lakefront.

CA is proud to bring the first Day of Dance to the Downtown Columbia Lakefront 💃🏽🕺🏽. Join us as we celebrate cultures from around the globe through the universal languages of music and movement. 🎶🌎🎤🎤 The event will be topped off with a performance by <a href="https://www.abadiopyermandefamily.com/" title="https://www.abadiopyermandefamily.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Aba Diop &amp; the Yermande Family</a>, produced by Merriweather Arts &amp; Culture Center (MACC). Enjoy live music, food trucks featuring multicultural cuisine, dancing all day long and much more!🎵🎙ABOUT ABA DIOP &amp; THE YERMANDE FAMILY: Aba Diop, Noumoucounda Cissoko and Jason Hosier are a power trio transmitting a wholly new genre of West African sabar fusion. Interweaving the propulsive rhythms of Diop’s sabar drum percussion with the dulcet tones of Cissoko’s kora, the fluidity of Hosier’s jazzy, meditative guitar riffs, and vocals that integrate the griot storytelling traditions from thousands of years, the trio’s unique instrumentation creates a conversation between tradition and modernity, between east and west, between acoustic and electric.Visit <a href="https://lakefrontlive.org/" title="https://lakefrontlive.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">LakefrontLive.org</a> for a full schedule of events.
