Welcome to <strong><strong>Laughs By The Bay</strong></strong> — a weekly comedy showcase featuring a rotating lineup of rising comics, local favorites, and surprise drop-ins from comedians seen at Cobb’s, Punch Line, SF Sketchfest, and more.</p><p>Every Tuesday night, The Function transforms into an intimate downtown comedy club with two packed shows full of fresh stand-up.</p><p>Whether you're planning a date night, meeting up with friends, or just looking for something fun to do after work, Laughs By The Bay is an easy midweek win.</p><h3>SHOWTIMES</h3><ul><li>5:00 PM - Doors Open + Happy Hour!</li><li>7:30 PM - Comedy Show!</li></ul><h3>ABOUT THE VENUE</h3><p>Located at 1414 Market Street in downtown San Francisco, The Function is an intimate comedy club and cocktail lounge just steps from Civic Center and Van Ness stations.</p><h3>IMPORTANT INFO</h3><ul><li>Ages 21+</li><li>Two-drink minimum during comedy shows</li><li>Card &amp; mobile pay only</li><li>Arrive at least 30 minutes early for best seating</li></ul>

<p><br></p><h2><strong><strong>FAQ</strong></strong></h2><p><strong><strong>Is the event 21+?</strong></strong> Yes. Due to licensing restrictions the event is 21+ only.</p><p><strong><strong>Is there a drink minimum? </strong></strong>Yes. Like most comedy clubs in San Francisco, there is a 2-drink minimum. We'll have exclusive Funcheap drink specials for each show, plus several mocktail options if you're going dry.</p><h2>Refund Policy</h2><p><strong><strong>What If i can no longer make it? </strong></strong>We know that sometimes plans change, and want to be as flexible as possible.</p><p>As long as you let us know at least 72 hours before the show, you can either receive a full refund of the ticket price back to your original form of payment, or we can issue you a credit good towards tickets to a future show (up to 1 year) for the date/time of your choice. Simply fill out the refund request form on Eventbrite. It's your choice!</p><p>If you aren't able to let us know you can't make it until the day of the show, as long as you let us know at least 3 hours prior to showtime, then we are happy to issue you a credit towards tickets to a future show of your choice good for up to 1 year as long as you notify us prior to the shows' starting time.</p><p>Please note that in most cases Eventbrite’s fees are non-refundable, so they won't be returned to the ticket buyer unless the event is canceled, or if the buyer requests a refund for a duplicate charge within 7 days of purchase.</p><p>In short, attendees can receive refunds to their original payment method (minus Eventbrite's fees) or as a credit to a future event up to 72 hours before the event start date.</p>
