LAURIE'S MINI WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP:Mountains ,Thur, June 18th, 2:30-5:00PM

Adult & Teens 15 and over

Prerequisite: Some previous experience recommended, such as beginning watercolor students who have taken a watercolor class before, existing watercolor artists whose techniques are rusty, or artists who want some continuing instruction or who want to learn new techniques. A few of the classes may be more suitable for beginners than others. If you are unsure, contact the instructor, Laurie Adams.

Class Size: Minimum 2, maximum 8

Synopsis: Each mini watercolor workshop is based on a different topic; most of which can be finished during the class time allotted. Many of the classes can tailored to beginner or intermediate watercolor skills but check the skill level before purchase or contact the instructor.

Description: Mini is in the title because these watercolor workshops are only 2-1/2 hours long instead of a full or half day. Many of the classes can be adjusted based on skill level. For example, transfer paper can be provided if your drawing skills are not where you want them to be. If you have never painted with watercolor before, check out Laurie’s Beginning Watercolor Basics class.

Mountains - This class will be technique driven because you will learn different ways to create mountains and also to create such things as snow caps and/or texture on the mountains. While there will be some easy techniques taught in this class, it would be best if you have had some beginning watercolor classes previously, as some of the techniques might be harder to manage without a little prior experience.
