LAURIE'S MINI WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP:Sandhill Cranes ,Thur, Jul 2, 6:00-8:30PM

Adult & Teens 15 and over

Prerequisite: Some previous experience recommended, such as beginning watercolor students who have taken a watercolor class before, existing watercolor artists whose techniques are rusty, or artists who want some continuing instruction or who want to learn new techniques. A few of the classes may be more suitable for beginners than others. If you are unsure, contact the instructor, Laurie Adams.

Class Size: Minimum 2, maximum 8

Synopsis: Each mini watercolor workshop is based on a different topic; most of which can be finished during the class time allotted. Many of the classes can tailored to beginner or intermediate watercolor skills but check the skill level before purchase or contact the instructor.

Description: Mini is in the title because these watercolor workshops are only 2-1/2 hours long instead of a full or half day. Many of the classes can be adjusted based on skill level. For example, transfer paper can be provided if your drawing skills are not where you want them to be. If you have never painted with watercolor before, check out Laurie’s Beginning Watercolor Basics class.

Sandhill Cranes – In honor of the Sandhill Cranes that come to Colorado every year we will be painting them! Some previous watercolor experience is recommended for this class as birds can be challenging to paint and draw, although tracing is allowed in my classroom.

Bring to class: Bring your own paint & brushes. Contact the instructor for supply list. Paper will be provided.
