Slow down and connect with lavender in this hands-on, educational workshop at Four Suns Farm. Lavender Essentials: Farm to Field blends practical learning with plant-based making, using natural ingredients and lavender grown right here on our farm.

Guests will begin with Lavender 101, learning about the lavender varieties we grow, how they’re cared for and harvested, and the many ways lavender can be used in everyday life. Through sensory exploration and conversation, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for this versatile plant and the role it plays in sustainable farming.

The workshop then moves into a guided, hands-on bug spray making experience, where you’ll create your own natural insect repellent using farm-grown lavender and simple, thoughtfully sourced ingredients. We’ll discuss why natural alternatives matter, how essential oils work, and how to use your finished product safely and effectively.

This workshop is beginner-friendly and designed to be both informative and relaxing—perfect for anyone curious about lavender, natural living, or life on the farm.

Yoga Classes: In the case of rain or extreme weather, yoga may be rescheduled. Participants will have the option to attend the make-up class.
