Leave No Trace - Courses and Events

Leave No Trace training and events highlighting the habitat preserves Wiliamson County has established and the endangered species that call them home. Hiking permit courses for those 13 years old and up, youth-oriented game days, and outdoor workshops.

Class is held once a month.  Please check back for additional dates or email wccf@wilco.org for more  information.

This class will cover the 7 principles of Leave No Trace with an emphasis on being mindful while hiking at Williamson County preserves. Participants will obtain a permit at the end of the course allowing visitors access to hiking trails at Twin Springs and Beck Preserve.Participant must complete a online LNT awareness activity prior to the in person class.
