Let's Go Hiking at Sam's Point
Ready to hit the trails and soak up some awesome views with friends? This one is going to be even better than last time!
Welcome to Black Field Trips.
If you've been waiting for a reason to get outside and actually do something this summer, this is it. We're loading up the van and heading to Sam's Point Preserve in the Hudson Valley for a full day group hike through one of New York's most scenic trails.
This is not a solo hike. This is a curated group experience with good people, good energy, and views that will remind you why you need to do this more often.
Sam's Point sits at the top of the Shawangunk Ridge and gives you panoramic views that are genuinely hard to describe. The Sam's Point and Verkeerderkill Falls loop is about 6.1 miles, rated moderate, and takes roughly 3 to 3.5 hours to complete. You will earn every bit of it.
What is included in your ticket:
Round trip transportation in our group van departing from Jamaica LIRR. Light snacks and hydration for the trail. A full day with the BFT community in one of the most beautiful natural spaces in New York State.
What is not included:
Breakfast at our morning stop before we hit the trail and lunch or dinner after the hike. Both stops are part of the day but food and drinks are on you.
This trip is capped at 15 people total. Once it sells out, it sells out. No exceptions.
