Overview
This is an introductory course designed for operators and programmers new to Renishaw spindle probing cycles.
Level 1 Probe Training Course
Learn the fundamentals of machine tool probing and enhance the efficiency of your machining centers and lathes. This class will be taught on an Okuma machine, but 90% of the course is control-agnostic.
This course will cover the following topics:
- What is a probe and how does it function?
- How to perform first-time setup on a probe or replace a damaged stylus
- How to pair and calibrate a probe
- Calibration types and best practices
- How and when to configure trigger logic
- Introduction to Set & Inspect, GoProbe, and Reporter softwares
Earn a Certificate of Completion from Renishaw at the end of the course.

There are 2 seperate sessions. Please register for the day you prefer as both sessions will cover the same material.
