Explore evidence‑based lifestyle changes that improve wellbeing, with practical guidance on building and sustaining healthy habits.

Siobhan Rooney, Wellbeing Lead, Scottish Ambulance Service will lead us on an exploration of the 6 Pillars of Lifestyle Medicine as outlined by the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine.

The session will delve further into each pillar: Mental Wellbeing, Minimising Harmful Substances, Healthy Relationships, Healthy Eating, Sleep and Physical Activity.

Current research will be examined, with view to establishing which adjustments to lifestyle produce the biggest improvements to our health and wellbeing. Behaviour change will be discussed in relation to the practicalities of applying and maintaining healthy habits.
