Lines of Service: First Youth Fishing Experience

We’re proud to announce the first official event for Lines of Service — and we couldn’t think of a better way to start than with a Halloween-themed fishing event focused on families, fun, and making memories together.

Kids and parents will have the chance to dress up, fish, laugh, and experience the outdoors in a fun and interactive way. Truthfully, I’m looking forward to being a big kid myself and dressing up with my daughter. I think we already have our costumes picked out.

We’ll be holding the event at MarineMax in Fort Walton Beach, a place that has supported me and given me opportunities to bring ideas like this to life from the very beginning. Because of that, it only felt right to hold our first official event here.

It’s the perfect environment for kids to learn, have fun, and create lasting memories with their parents. This event is designed to introduce kids to fishing in a hands-on, supportive, and exciting atmosphere while building confidence, connection, and a lifelong love for the outdoors.

What’s Included:

🎒 A starter backpack (hooks, weights, pliers, bait)

🐟 Fish cleaning service (if you choose to keep your catch)

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A family-friendly experience focused on learning and fun

Cost:

$20 per participant

Steve’s Farm has generously donated the fishing fee for this event. The $20 covers fish cleaning services, where your catch will be cleaned and bagged on-site if you decide to keep it.
