Locals on the Lawn (LoL)

King's Grant Presbyterian Church is excited to announce Locals on the Lawn (LoL). During the summer of 2026 we will hold four LoL events designed for family fun and community connections. These events are FREE to everyone. The first event on June 26th from 5-8Pm is a physical health and fitness format. Everyone is encouraged to dress in athletic gear, bring a light meal, maybe something to share and be ready to join in as we are led in some energetic activities. BYOB or Wine.
Would you like to try a little line dancing for fitness and health? FitPop from VA Beach Parks and recreation will be leading us in some fun line dance moves.
Have you ever tried a little Karate' or self defense? Hopkito Karate will do some demonstrations on the art of Karate' and may even show the kids a few moves.
Did someone say Yoga? Our Friends at Mt Trashmore YMCA will provide a popup yoga class so bring your mats.
We will also have information tables from VABeach Sports Center and the VA Beach Historical Museum.
Hungry or just need a treat.? Sunshine Treats will be on hand to sell some tasty treats.
Lets not forget to practice our Cornhole expertise for the Cornhole contest at our final LoL of the summer in August. Who will get the 2026 bragging rights?.
