2026 Lecture Series offers unique programming with special guest speakers held at the Welcome and Discovery Center at Lovers Key State Park!

Join us at Lovers Key State Park for an evening filled with insightful discussions on the importance of water in our beloved park.Get ready to dive deep into the wonders of the aquatic world and how it impacts the diverse ecosystem of Lovers Key. Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn, connect, and be inspired!The speakers for the evening will be Chauncey Goss, Governing Board Chairman South Florida Water Management District, and Michael Parsons, Professor of Marine Science, The Water School FGCU.Space is limited; reservations are required. Tickets are not refundable. Proceeds benefit educational programming at Lovers Key State Park. Refreshments provided.Doors open at 5:30 PM. The presentation begins promptly at 6:00 PM, followed by a question/answer period.Enter the park at the main entrance gate and proceed to the Community Room at the Welcome and Discovery Center, located in Parking Lot #3.
