About the Akron Art MuseumThe Akron Art Museum, dedicated to enriching lives through modern and contemporary art, showcases regional, national and international art created since 1850. The museum’s collection is presented in a spectacular facility designed by Viennese architectural firm Coop Himmelb(l)au and includes over 5,000 works of art, with a strong focus on contemporary painting, sculpture and photography. Akron Glass Works

Discover creativity, craftsmanship, and the beauty of stained glass during a hands-on experience. This unique class offers an up-close look at the stained-glass process in a working studio setting.Local glass artists Sandy Holata Diehl and Mary Nemeth will guide you in the creation of your very own mini window, inspired by Louis Comfort Tiffany. Space is limited.Please note that this class takes place off-site at Akron Glass Works. Advance registration required. $85 for members / $100 for member guests.Must be at least 15 years old and accompanied by an adult. NO open toe shoes are allowed in the hot shop
